Over 20 years ago my Grandfather, Harold Champlain, realized the importance of reminding those around
us that the Natives that fought for their freedom to exist as a people,
are still here. We are here as the daughters, sons, grandchildren
and great grandchildren and we have learned to adapt and contribute
to "society" in many positive ways. It is important for
this to be known and recorded in history so that our descendents will
see our pictures and read about our lives from our own words. |
